Welcome to the restoration permit application process for buildings damaged by fire and/or water. For buildings damaged to the extent of 75% or more of its value above the foundation, a separate demolition permit is required. Subsequently, if the owner intends to rebuild, a separate building permit application must be submitted.
Once the application is completed, an number(s) will be issued to the applicant where it can be viewed with all
folders held by the account holder in their MyTownship profile.

- Ensure you have all documentation prepared as the online application process will timeout if inactive for 15 minutes.

- The information entered is correct and you agree to upload all documentation required for the permit application including, without limitation, the application form and checklist that outlines the items necessary for permit submission. Missing documentation may result in, among other things, the processing of this application being delayed or the application being rejected and a new permit application required to be submitted. Submitting a false application may constitute fraud and/or be a criminal offence.
- If a building or structure is damaged or destroyed to the extent of 75% or more of its value above the foundation, it must not be repaired or reconstructed unless the whole of such building or structure is made to comply with the Building Bylaw, the Building Code and all other applicable enactments including other Township of Langley bylaws.
