Metro Vancouver has announced Stage 1 Water restrictions will be in effect September 1, 2026.
Water Exemption Permits for the purpose of nematode application to treat Chafer Beetle infestations are not currently available. Nematode applications are most effective when applied in late July to early August. For treatment outside this period, alternate treatment options, such as Btg, are available that do not require several weeks of watering.
