Application for an accessory building
(includes new, additions and alterations)

Welcome to the accessory building permit application process. Please note, if your drawings include a new single family dwelling and accessory building (your drawings include both the single family dwelling and accessory building on the same building plans), please apply using the “New single family dwelling with accessory building” application process. Once the application is completed, an application number will be issued to the applicant where it can be viewed with all folders held by the account holder in their MyTownship profile.
Please note the following application conditions:
  • Users can apply using a MyTownship profile here.
  • All *mandatory fields must be completed.
  • Ensure you have all documentation prepared as the online application process will timeout if inactive for 15 minutes.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
By continuing with the application, you acknowledge, agree to, accept, and otherwise consent to the following conditions:
  • The information entered is correct and you agree to upload all documentation required for the permit application including, without limitation, the site plan, construction drawings and the checklist that outlines the items necessary for permit submission. Missing documentation may result in, among other things, the processing of this application being delayed or the application being rejected and a new permit application required to be submitted. Submitting a false application may constitute fraud and/or be a criminal offence.
  • For properties serviced by a septic system, a Registered Onsite Wastewater Practitioner is required to provide a Building Permit Referral Form to indicate no work on the system is required or that a Fraser Health Record of filing is currently in progress. This must be submitted as part of your application. If a Fraser Health Record of filing is required, it must be provided prior to issuance of the permit. Failure to include this required information may result in, among other things, the processing of this application being delayed or the application being rejected and a new permit application required to be submitted..
